The club meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Eastern time at the Gym in the Children's Museum. The club also has classes for beginning fencers on Mondays at the same time and place There may be times when the gym is not available. Those times will be announced in red.

The club will NOT meet on Tuesday, 4 July 2006 because of the holiday.  Enjoy the Fourth!

Tournaments

The Oak Ridge Fencers Club will hold their 5th Annual Harold & Penny Newton Memorial Tournament on February 18, 2006, at the Children's Museum in Oak Ridge. This will be a mixed "D and Under" tournament for epee and foil.
1. Events Schedule (all times are Eastern Standard Time):

Mixed D & Under Epee 9:45 AM (registration closes)
Mixed D & under Foil 12:30 PM (registration closes)

Pre-register online at AskFred.net and look to see who else will come. Preregistration closes on 2/17/2006.

Cost: (with preregistration) $20 for 1st event, $5 for each additional event
(without preregistration) $25 for 1st event, $5 for each additional
- Registration will be paid at the door.

Location: Children's Museum in Oak Ridge Tennessee.

Membership requirements:
- USFA membership is required and all events will be run according to USFA rules and regulations. Membership applications will be available at the tournament.
- Ratings will be awarded as appropriate for each event. Awards will be given for first through third place in each event.

Doors open at 8:45 a.m.
Pools are scheduled to start 15 minutes after times listed.
